Grigoria joined the Cyprus Institute as a PhD student in March 2016 after receiving her Masters degree in Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology at the University of Sheffield, UK (2013) and her Bachelors Degree in Archaeology at the University of Cyprus (2012).
Prior to joining CyI, Grigoria worked in several archaeological projects, excavations and museum work in Cyprus. She is interested in the investigation and reconstruction of health, diet, palaeopathology and palaeodemography of past populations using macroscopic and microscopic methods.
Her main research interests focus on the bioarchaeology of Roman populations of Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean and her aim is to establish a research that will enable the construction of a strong interpretational background of the Roman period.

Research Interests
Biological Anthropology, bioarchaeology, palaeopathology, archaeological sciences, osteology and archaeology of Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean.
