Demetris Charalambous is a Physicist and Meteorology Officer at the Cyprus Department of Meteorology. He joined the Department in 2005 and has served as an operational aviation and public weather forecaster (having completed his training at the UK Met Office College). He is currently responsible for Numerical Weather Prediction R&D and operations. In addition, he is also responsible for Data Traffic Management (WIS) and is actively engaged in the installation, maintenance and development of automatic weather stations.
