The Head of the Operational/Project Management Sector (REA C3 - ‘Widening Participation’) at the European Research Executive Agency (REA), established by the European Commission (EC), Mr. Patricio Ortiz de la Torre, visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises in Athalassa on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

During the meeting, Prof. Jean Sciare presented the progress of the EMME-CARE and Edu4ClimAte Projects, exploring possibilities for new synergies. Prof. Vangelis Harmandaris and Dr Kathy Christoforou focused on the SimEA Project, while Prof. Constantia Alexandrou, Dr Stella Manoli, and Dr Georgios Christodoulou discussed the progress of the QUEST Project. Finally, Mr. Ortiz de la Torre had the opportunity to take a guided tour of selected CyI facilities.
