Ulku Tasseven

Ulku holds a Diploma in Travel and Tourism Administration from College of Tourism and Hotel Management, Cyprus, a BSc in Economics from University of Salford, UK and an MA in European Union Studies from University of Leiden, Netherlands. In 2010, her graduate career commenced in Brussels at the DG Communication - European Commission as a blue-book stagiaire.

She later came back to Cyprus and worked in higher education for over 5 years as a senior administrator. In 2014, she was elected to the City Council of Nicosia and worked and was head of different committees including international relations, budgetary, law, water treatment and waste management.

Currently, she is a PhD student and a Research Assistant at The Cyprus Institute working under the Energy Division
