Bianca Casa is a doctoral candidate in Science and Technology in Archaeology and Cultural Heritage, and a research assistant on the Face to Face: Meet an Ancient Cypriot Project, under the supervision of Dr Kirsi Lorentz since 2019.
Bianca obtained a BA Hons I (2016) from the University of Queensland, Australia, and an MSc (I) in Bioarchaeological and Forensic Anthropology from the Institute of Archaeology, University College London (2018).
She specialises in human bioarchaeology and mortuary archaeology, particularly of the Mediterranean and Middle East regions. Her present research focuses on human-environment interactions, trauma analyses, and funerary taphonomy and archaeothanatology.
