Natalie was born in 1995 in Brazil. She has lived in multiple countries since the age of 10, obtaining her Bachelors and Masters qualifications from England before starting her PhD studies at the Cyprus Institute. She is qualified with a BA Joint honours in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Bioarchaeological and Forensic Anthropology from University College London. Her area of specialization is bioarchaeology, and she is currently interested in analysing the effects of taphonomy on the preservation of human remains from the Chalcolithic period in Cyprus and Portugal.
She currently holds a position as a research assistant on the face to face project, alongside her supervisor, Dr. Kirsi Lorentz, at STARC.
