Evagoras Nearchou

In June 2020, Evagoras Nearchou joined CyI as an Electrical / Electronic Engineer for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in the CARE-C Centre in order to contribute in the implementation and the development of their electronic systems.

His main previous working experience, from March 2013 – December 2019, was as an Electronic Engineer / Engineering Technician at a French State-owned Company, operating some of the most powerful Medium Wave Relay Radio Stations located in Europe. From July 2012 – March 2013, he worked as a Telecommunications Engineer for the leading EMF Measurements independent contractor in Cyprus.

Evagoras’ Alma Mater is the University of Bradford from where he holds a BEng (Honours) in Electronic Telecommunications and Internet Engineering (2010) and an MSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with Merit (2011).
