Andreas Demou holds a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Energy Technologies and Sustainable Design and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cyprus, studying thermally-driven, turbulent flows by means of direct numerical simulations and large-eddy simulations. Most recently, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the KTH University Stockholm, studying weakly compressible multiphase flows with phase transition.
He is currently a computational scientist at CaSToRC, studying wetting hydrodynamics by utilizing novel data-driven methods, as part of CoE RAISE.
