Constantinos Paphitis joined The Cyprus Institute in December 2025 as a Research Engineer in Artificial Intelligence for Cybersecurity, working on the funded project DAEMON-AI at the Computation-based Science and Technology Research Center (CaSToRC).
He holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus. His MSc dissertation, titled “Intelligent Tutoring System for Academic Papers”, focused on the design of an LLM-based system for knowledge extraction and personalized learning from academic papers in complex technical domains.
