The First Secretary at High Commission of India, H.E. Mr. Subhash Jangala, visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises in Athalassa on Wednesday, 18th of October 2023, to learn more about the Institute and its activities, and to explore possible areas of collaboration with the Institute.

 

Followed by a brief presentation on The Cyprus institute’s activities and achievements, a discussion on possible areas of collaboration, finally Mr. Jangala had the opportunity to get a guided tour of selected CyI facilities, including the High-Performance Computing Facility (HPC), the Archaeological Science SEM Lab, the Unmanned Systems Research Laboratory (USRL) and the BioMERA MicroCT Facility.

 

Hosting the meeting was CyI President Prof. Stavros Malas, in the presence of CyI Vice President of Operations, Dr Michalis Yiangou, CyI Assistant Vice President of Policies and Institute Affairs, Mrs. Eleni Sophocleous, Head of the Graduate School, Dr Chrysanthia Leontiou, CARE-C Assoc. Research Scientists, Dr Somnath Bhowmich and Dr Vijay Kanawade, STARC Technical Research Specialist, Dr Anis Fatima, STARC PhD candidate, Ms. Meghna Desai, EEWRC PhD candidate, Ms. Neha Deot, and CaSToRC PhD candidate, Mr. Pranay Narendi.
