Prokopis is a holder of a BSc in Oil and Gas Engineering (Natural Gas Field Development Plan), an MSc in Oil, Gas and Energy Engineering (Modelling CO2-Induced Uplift of Caprocks for the Various Flow Regimes in the CO2 Sequestration Problem) from the University of Nicosia, and a Master of Business Administration from the European University.
With over a decade of experience spanning the public safety and security sector, Prokopis has seamlessly transitioned into diverse engineering and technical roles within the private sector. His expertise extends to facilities and infrastructure management, where he has gained substantial hands-on experience in overseeing and optimizing critical projects.
Throughout his career, Prokopis has developed a strong passion for occupational health and safety, as well as quality systems. He holds certifications including NEBOSH IGC, ISO 9001, and ISO 45001 internal and external auditor qualifications, reflecting his commitment to maintaining high standards in safety and quality practices.
Currently, Prokopis is broadening his professional scope by pursuing a Master's degree with a focus on project management for construction works and Building Information Management (BIM). This academic endeavor further highlights his dedication to staying at the forefront of industry developments and modern management methodologies.
As an active member of respected organizations such as IRCA, CQI, the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber, and the Cyprus Health and Safety Association, Prokopis continues to contribute his knowledge and skills toward advancing occupational safety, quality management systems, and infrastructure best practices.
