Over the past eleven years, Dr Avgousti has been a senior scientist specializing in Digital Humanities and Digital Cultural Heritage Informatics at The Cyprus Institute's Science and Technology in Archaeology and Culture Research Center (STARC). Before joining The Cyprus Institute, he worked in the USA and Cyprus. Additionally, he served as a college lecturer.
My research focuses on advanced software engineering methodologies applied to the Arts, Humanities, and Cultural Heritage, aiming to develop innovative solutions for the digitization, dissemination, analysis, and preservation of cultural assets.
