Viktor Finopoulos
Viktor joined the Cyprus Institute Graduate School as a PhD student in October 2025. He holds a Master’s Degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the Vinifera MSc in Montpellier and Lisbon.
His main area of interest is the cultivation of grapevines and the production of wine throughout the centuries, with a focus on the provenance and distribution of grapevine cultivars. He will be focusing on the identification of Vitis sylvestris with the use of molecular markers.
