The Cyprus Institute, widely recognized for its commitment to advancing scientific research, innovation, and education, actively participated in this year’s highly anticipated 2023 Reflect Festival, the leading platform for discussions at the intersection of technology and science. The Reflect Festival took place September 20-21, 2023, in Limassol, offering a dynamic environment that encouraged cross-disciplinary dialogue, creative thinking, and networking opportunities with experts and enthusiasts from various fields.

The Institute's participation included prominent administration officials and distinguished faculty members who made significant contributions to this premier event, enriching discussions and activities with their achievements and expertise.

CyI President, Prof. Stavros Malas, was a key participant in two panel discussions titled “How can scientific innovation tackle global crises in health and the environment” and “1.4B vs 1.2M - The size of the population matters, or doesn't it?”, as well as presenting a keynote speech on “Transcending the Innovation Boundaries - Forging Pathways from the Lab to the Marketplace in Cyprus”.
