On Thursday, June 18, 2024, the Director of AUF Brussels, H.E. Mr. Ambassador Mamadou Bamba Hanne, along with the Responsible for Francophone issues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Dimitra Ioannidou, the Deputy European Correspondent of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kypros Savva, and Mrs. Georgia Hadjicosti from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited The Cyprus Institute’s premises.

 

CyI President, Prof. Stavros Malas, hosted the meeting, accompanied by CyI Assistant Vice President of Policy and Internal Communications, Mrs. Eleni Sophocleous, CARE-C Director, Prof. Jean Sciare, EEWRC Prof. Fadi Comair, and STARC Assoc. Prof. Sorin Hermon.

 

A presentation on The Cyprus Institute’s activities and achievements was followed by a guided tour of selected CyI facilities, including the Unmanned Systems Research Laboratory (USRL), Linear Fresnel Facility (LIFE), and the Andreas Pittas Art Characterization Laboratories (APAC Labs).
